BIO

Gary Reddin grew up among the cicada songs and tornado sirens of Southwest Oklahoma. He found his voice in this dissonance. Reddin is a freelance writer and editor whose work appears regularly in Oklahoma newspapers and magazines. His fiction has been published in The Dillydoun Review, The Windmill, The Iconoclast, The Razor, and elsewhere. His nonfiction has been published in Essay Daily, Stoneboat, The Oklahoma Review, and elsewhere. His poetry has been published in Marathon Lit Review, Dragon Poet Review, and elsewhere. He is the author of "An Abridged History of American Violence (Rose Rock Press, 2019). Reddin earned his bachelor's degree in English from Cameron University in 2017 and his master's of fine arts in writing from Lindenwood University in 2022.
